leaving, on a jet plane; don't know when i'll be back again...

actually not leaving yet. and actually i know when i'll be back because I have to work, but....

So we're finally set, booked, and now just ready to go for our trip to Athens, Greece.

We will be leaving on Saturday June 26th and will arrive in Athens on the 27th in time for me to present at a research conference. We'll spend 4 night in Athens before taking a ferry and venturing down to the Greek island of Mykonos. Here we will set up our home base for the islands and take day trips to explore the other Greek islands.

We will both be shipping our bikes with us to explore and get an intimate feel of the beautiful country!

and the planning begins

Desiree's and my approval for time off was confirmed and yesterday and we can officially plan our trip to Athens, Greece. My research from Emory has been accepted at an international Kinesiology conference and I will be presenting on my research. On top of that, Desiree and I will be using it as a vacation. We are thinking of being over ther for about 10 nights. We also plan on bringing our bikes with us allowing us to explore the area. What do to..?? what to do..??

I'll be providing more details as they come, and let the planning begin! :)
