Day 2- ATVing, beaching, tapas

We woke up on our own however realizing what time it was, only 05:30.  So we hung out in bed and the. The balcony as the sun rose. I tried calling an ATV company for tour, however they weren't open that early. Not much we could do yet as breakfast would be open until 07:00. I finally got in touch with Fourtraxadventures and set up for them to pick us up from our hotel at 07:05. We rushed to pack for the day and head to breakfast early to have some made to order chao before the days plans.
An ATV tour lasting about 3 hours and culminated with lunch. The was another couple from LA and a guy from New Orleans.  We had perfect weather, beautiful scenery, and an awesome time. One of the best things was when we got off of the ATV and hiked about 2 km to a waterfall and took some amazing pictures.
The tour culminated with a typical breakfast of eggs, rice and beans, fried plantains, and hot dog with sauté onions and tomatoes.
A taxi took us back to our hotel where most of the transport was spent with me sleeping. After returning back to the hotel, we unloaded some of our gear and headed to the beach where we were told was within walking distance. Of course was walked significant steep gradient climbs and descents. My garmin was showing peak of 30%+ up and down. The beach was nice and quiet, however the shoreline was very rocky and difficult to walk. Back to the hotel for our siesta and woke up to plan the next few days adventures and figure out dinner. We we set up a horseback canopy tour for Wednesday and a water rafting trip for thursday. Tomorrow, we will head to Manuel Antonio national park and enjoy monkeys, birds, trails, and beaches.
Dinner was decided- A tapas bar that we had past a few times going to/from our hotel. The hotel pleasantly provided transport for us.
Yummy dishes as we started with 2 tapas- white fish in a cilantro lime sauce and sashimi tuna with main courses of shrimp quesadilla and chicken chalupa. What a wonderful little restaurant that overlooks the Pacific. The had 2 wonderful dogs that roamed freely thru the restaurant and was well behaved. We decided to walk back. I had reservations of doings so because of how dark it was and how steep and windy the roads were. However we made it home safely and are just relaxing before lights out and night night.

Sleeping in is on the docket and breakfast in the AM before Le Parque.
